Pear Pecan Caramel Sauce
(makes about 1 cup)


  • 1/2 c. butter

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

  • 1/2 c. cream

  • 6 oz jar The Prairie Gypsies' Pear Pecan Jam


Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Stirring constantly over medium heat, cook the mixture until sugar is dissolved.

Add cream, stirring until blended. Add jam and stir until melted. Continue to cook until sauce is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and cool.

Serve over ice cream, pancakes, waffles or toasted pound cake. Enjoy!
